During this mini workshop we will use props such as blocks & tennis balls and long hold times to open the body through passive stretching. We will incorporate poses to help realign joints to improve stability, as well as help to release overly tight muscles and tendons. This class will specifically use props to show how to support your body in a manner to eliminate unnecessary straining and release tension. Let's enhance our practice Self Myofascial release work with the breath. Restorative Block & Roll helps to release emotional and mental tension and is a GREAT stress reliever!

We know you need a little TLC after all of your training & 26.2 miles on Sunday! We invite you to join us for our 7:00pm Flow & Restore class....we will lead you through some flowing yoga poses to stretch your sore muscles and end with restorative poses for deeper relaxation.

Taking your first yoga class can be intimidating. Lots of thoughts arise, and maybe even the feeling as if you don't belong. All you need to know: You don't need to be flexible; or touch your toes! All yoga classes are different. Many styles, ways of teaching, and kinds of studios. Find the one that connects with you the most. No shoes, or socks. Just comfortable, fitted clothes. No eating a good 90 min. before class. Yoga mats, towels, water are usually available (we offer towels & water $1;mats $2, per item needed) Yoga is for "everybody". It's a yoga practice;not a yoga perfect! Vinyasa 101 offers a special time to give the basic yoga poses, fundamentals, and the use of props in a workshop style environment. Demonstrations, step by step guide to poses, and live feedback or questions during this special 5-class series.
