The following are a few simple guidelines to enhance your experience.

We always welcome new students of all levels to our classes. If you have any doubt about your ability to practice yoga, please consult your physician before beginning.

Age Requirements:  Students age 16 and up may practice with a signed waiver by their guardian and the guardian must be present to sign waiver before first class.

-The studio is open 30 minutes prior to class and shortly after.

-Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to class.

-Doors are locked at the beginning of each class and no one may wait unattended in the lobby.

-We are a heat/humidity based yoga studio.

-Bring  a yoga mat, a towel, and a bottle of water (it can get sweaty!).

-Wear something that is breathable and moves well.

-Prepare to be barefoot, you are at Barefoot Yoga Loft.

-Turn off your cellular device, and leave in lobby before entering class.

-Quiet your mind and voice once you enter classroom.

-Respect others space and practice.

-Wipe your area clean, wipe down your props and return them to their designation.

-Keep practicing! Be consistent! Soreness after practice is normal. This is your body waking up! The more you practice the better you will feel.

Yoga has taught me to relax and be more flexible in my thoughts, my actions, and in my body itself. I have learned to slow down, take a deep breath, and then let it go. Life can be intense, frustrating, and painful at times. Yoga helps you work through all that to find peace and new space both in body and in spirit. Thanks Barefoot Yoga Loft for providing guidance and helping me change!
